INGREDIENTS:
- 2 & 1/2 cup grated cassava
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp lye water
- 2 tsp ube flavoring
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- ¾ cup grated coconut
HOW TO COOK:
- In large mixing bowl, combine the cassava, water, lye water, ube flavoring, and white sugar.
- Stir thoroughly until the mixture is well- blended.
- Pour the cassava mixture in a small molds then arrange the molds in a steamer.
- Prepare steamer and steam for 60 minutes.
- Remove from the steamer.
- Let it cool down completely until the texture gets close to sticky tikoy.
- In a bowl or container, roll each piece of pich pichi over the grated coconut.
- Arrange in a serving plate. Serve and enjoy!
