INGREDIENTS:
- 1 & ½ lb grilled (or roasted) chicken breast, finely chopped
- ¼ lb chicken liver, chopped
- ¼ cup butter (for sizzling plate)
- 4 to 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 cup minced yellow onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 pcs siling haba, sliced diagonally
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Pour and heat the cooking oil in a pan.
- When the oil becomes hot, saute the onion until it becomes soft.
- Add- in the chicken liver and cook until the it browns.
- Add- in the chopped chicken breast then stir and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add- in the garlic powder and the soy sauce then stir.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper then stir.
- Add- in the mayonnaise and then stir right away until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Heat the sizzling plate.
- Once the plate is hot, put the butter in and let it melt.
- Transfer the chicken sisig to the sizzling plate.
- Crack the egg and drop on top of the chicken (optional).
- Arrange the sliced chili on top. Consume while hot. Enjoy!
