Pork Tonkatsu Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 pcs boneless pork chops
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp all- purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded (side dish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¾ cups cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Start by rubbing some salt and pepper on the pork chops and let stand for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan.
  3. Coat the pork chops with flour and then dip in the beaten egg mixture.
  4. Coat the pork chop with Panko bread crumbs until all sides are completely coated.
  5. Fry one side of the pork chop in low to medium heat until the color turns golden brown (about 6 to 9 minutes).
  6. Flip to cook the other side.
  7. Cut into strips.
  8. Arrange Tonkatsu in a serving plate with shredded cabbage and Tonkatsu sauce. Enjoy!
