Pork Tausi Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, sliced into thin strips
  • ¼ cup tausi (salted black beans), liquid discarded
  • ½ cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch diluted in 4 tsp water
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 medium yellow onion, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat the cooking oil in a pan.
  2. When the oil is hot enough, saute the garlic and onion.
  3. Cook until the onion becomes soft.
  4. Add- in the pork slices then cook for 1 minute.
  5. Put- in the tausi, oyster sauce, and parsley then stir and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Pour- in the water.
  7. Cover the pan and let the water boil.
  8. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes (add more water if needed).
  9. Pour- in cornstarch diluted in water.
  10. Sprinkle some ground black pepper then stir.
  11. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
