INGREDIENTS:
- 4 to 5 pcs pork chops
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- Juice from 2 pcs calamansi
- 1 & 1/2 cups water
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- In a large bowl, combine pork chops, calamansi juice, and soy sauce.
- Mix and marinade for at least 1 hour.
- Heat a pan then pour- in the cooking oil.
- When the oil is hot enough, fry the marinated pork chops for 3 to 5 minutes per side. Save the marinade.
- Remove excess oil.
- Pour- in the remaining marinade and water.
- Simmer until the pork is tender (add more water as needed).
- Add- in the sugar, salt, pepper and onions.
- Stir and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
