Easy Panutsa (May Mani) Recipe

Panutsa Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 cups salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • Salt

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Brush butter all over a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Combine the sugar, water, and salt in a pan then place over high heat.
  3. Leave for about 3 minutes or until golden. Stir occasionally until it turns amber in color, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in peanuts and baking soda.
  5. Immediately pour over the baking sheet and let it cool and harden.
  6. Once cooled, break into chunks. Enjoy!
