INGREDIENTS:
- 4 egg whites
- ½ tsp cream of tartar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- drop of food coloring (color of choice)
HOW TO MAKE:
- Preheat your oven to 374 F or 190 C.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Place egg whites in a mixing bowl and beat it until frothy.
- Add the cream of tartar and the salt and continue to beat until stiff.
- Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while continuously beating at high speed until it forms stiff peaks.
- Add vanilla extract and food coloring, then mix evenly.
- Place mixture in a piping bag.
- Pipe it piece by piece, while forming kisses, on the parchment paper.
- Place meringue kisses in the preheated oven, and then turn it off after 2 minutes.
- Leave it in the oven for 4 hours.
- Remove from the oven then transfer to on an airtight container for storage.
- Take a piece whenever you want to. Enjoy!
