Meringue Kisses Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 egg whites
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • drop of food coloring (color of choice)

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat your oven to 374 F or 190 C.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Place egg whites in a mixing bowl and beat it until frothy.
  4. Add the cream of tartar and the salt and continue to beat until stiff.
  5. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while continuously beating at high speed until it forms stiff peaks.
  6. Add vanilla extract and food coloring, then mix evenly.
  7. Place mixture in a piping bag.
  8. Pipe it piece by piece, while forming kisses, on the parchment paper.
  9. Place meringue kisses in the preheated oven, and then turn it off after 2 minutes.
  10. Leave it in the oven for 4 hours.
  11. Remove from the oven then transfer to on an airtight container for storage.
  12. Take a piece whenever you want to. Enjoy!
