Kamote Cue Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb kamote (sweet potato), sliced crosswise about 1.5 cm thick
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • Barbecue sticks (for skewering)

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Prepare a pan, heat it, and pour the cooking oil.
  2. Let the cooking oil heat- up then put- in the brown sugar.
  3. When the brown sugar floats, put- in the kamote.
  4. Fry for about 7 to 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the kamote once in a while for the sugar to stick.
  6. Remove the kamote from the pan one by one.
  7. You could directly skewer the fried kamote once removed from the pan.
  8. Let it cool down for a few minutes before serving. Share and Enjoy!
