Jelly Flan Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 sachet yellow powdered unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 liter of water
  • 4 pcs egg
  • Caramelized sugar
  • Molds or llanera

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and mix- in the milk, sugar and water.
  2. Stir together until the sugar has completely dissolved then set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, pour- in the 1/2 liter of water and then add the powdered gelatin.
  4. Stir the ingredients well and apply heat.
  5. Bring the mixture to a near boil and pour- in the egg and milk mixture.
  6. Stir well for about 3 minutes.
  7. Pour the mixture into a mold or llanera and allow to cool.
  8. Remove from llanera and place on serving plate.
  9. Pour caramelized sugar on top to mimic the leche plan appearance.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
