Fish Tacos Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 inch flour tortillas
  • 200 g tilapia fillet, cut into 1-  inch pieces
  • 1 & 1/2 limes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
  • 3/4 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cooking coil

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. In a bowl, juice the limes.
  2. Stir- in the mayonnaise and chili powder into the lime juice.
  3. Transfer half of the sauce to another bowl; toss fish in it.
  4. Set aside the remaining sauce.
  5. Pour and heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. In a shallow dish, combine the flour and salt.
  7. Toss- in the fish in flour mixture.
  8. Fry the breaded fish for about 3 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
  9. Drain the fish on paper towels.
  10. Warm the tortillas in paper towels by heating in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  11. Top tortillas with fish, cabbage, and carrots.
  12. Drizzle with remaining lime sauce. Enjoy!
