INGREDIENTS:
- 1/8 cup shredded carrots
- 1 can condensed milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white sugar
HOW TO COOK:
- In a large sauce pan, combine all the ingredients.
- Turn on to medium heat and cook the yema mixture.
- Cook until the yema mixture thickens while constantly stirring and mixing to avoid burning it.
- Remove from the heat and transfer yema in a bowl, let it cool.
- When the yema is already cool, scoop a small portion and form into balls
- Place the yema balls in a plate with sugar, then roll the yema balls to coat.
- Shake off excess sugar.
- Serve or wrap with plastic cellophane then store it in a jar. Enjoy!
