Beef Papis Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lb beef sirloin, cubed
  • 2 cups beef broth (beef stock)
  • 1 can (16 oz) pork & beans
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. In a deep cooking pot, pour and heat the cooking oil.
  2. Saute the garlic and onion.
  3. When the onion becomes soft, add the cubed beef sirloin.
  4. Brown the beef and then pour- in the beef broth (or beef stock).
  5. Let it boil then cover and simmer for 45 to 60 minutes (add water if needed).
  6. Put- in the pork & beans.
  7. Stir and cook in medium heat for 5 minutes.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
