INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lb beef sirloin, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth (beef stock)
- 1 can (16 oz) pork & beans
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- In a deep cooking pot, pour and heat the cooking oil.
- Saute the garlic and onion.
- When the onion becomes soft, add the cubed beef sirloin.
- Brown the beef and then pour- in the beef broth (or beef stock).
- Let it boil then cover and simmer for 45 to 60 minutes (add water if needed).
- Put- in the pork & beans.
- Stir and cook in medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
