Ginisang Talong With Pork & Bagoong Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 pcs eggplants, sliced lengthwise
  • 500 g pork, minced
  • 3 tbsp bagoong alamang
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 tbsp cane vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat the oil in a wok.
  2. When oil gets hot enough, sauté garlic and onions.
  3. Add- in the minced pork and cook while continuously mixing until light brown in color.
  4. Add- in the tomatoes and continue to cook until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add- in the eggplants, water, vinegar, sugar and bagoong alamang then bring to a boil then simmer in low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Season with freshly ground black pepper
  7. Mix ingredients well then cook for 3 more minutes.
  8. Remove from heat then transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
