Shingaling Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 & ½ lbs fresh miki noodles
  • 1 tsp beef powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 2 cups vegetable oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Combine beef powder, garlic powder, and chili powder in a bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients well.
  3. Rub this mixture on the miki noodles and make sure that all sides are coated.
  4. Arrange the noodles in a wide tray without overlapping each other.
  5. Let the noodles dry under direct sunlight for 1 day.
  6. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and deep fry the dried noodles until golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat and drip excess oil.
  8. Serve with spiced vinegar. Enjoy!

Note: If you are sun- drying the miki noodles outside your house, cover them with a clean screen or cheese cloth to protect it from insects.
