INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 kg sweet ham, thawed
- 1 cup canned pineapples, drained, chopped, including 1/2 cup of the liquid
- 1 cup apricot jam
- 6 cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
HOW TO COOK:
- Preheat the oven to 300 F or 150 C.
- Combine the pineapples, apricot jam, cloves, and salt in a saucepan.
- Cook over low heat and simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes or until syrupy. Reserve ¼ cup of the sauce.
- Place the ham on a wire rack set on top of a baking tray.
- Brush the ham with reserved sauce.
- Roast the ham in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and transfer to a serving plate. Serve with the pineapple sauce on the side. Enjoy!
