INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup queso de bola (edam cheese), grated
- 2 cups all- purpose flour
- 1 & ½ cups butter, softened
- 6 pc egg yolks
- 1 & ½ cups condensed milk
- 1 cup powdered milk
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cashew nuts
HOW TO MAKE:
- Preheat the oven to 325 F or 160 C.
- Line a rectangular pan with 1 pc baking paper (12“ x 16“ x 1“) then set aside.
- Sift flour and powdered milk 3 times then set aside.
- Using a mixer, cream the sugar and butter for 5 minutes at medium speed.
- Add- in the egg yolks one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add- in the condensed milk.
- At low speed, add flour and powdered milk mixture.
- Fold- in the cashew nuts and grated queso de bola.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown in color.
- Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
- Cut into bars. Serve and enjoy!
