Easy Pinsec Frito Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs ground pork
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 pc raw egg
  • 1  & 1/2 cup carrots, minced
  • 1  & 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 3/4 cup green onion, minced
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 packs siomai wrapper
  • 1  & 1/2 cup cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, onion, sesame oil, salt, ground black pepper, green onion, crab meat, and egg then mix thoroughly.
  2. Place a piece of wonton wrapper in a flat surface.
  3. Scoop a teaspoon of the meat mixture and place it in the middle of the wonton wrapper.
  4. Dip your finger in water and run it on the sides of the wonton wrapper.
  5. Fold the wonton wrapper in a manner where one edge meets the opposite forming a triangle.
  6. Gently press the sides to seal.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 until all the mixture is consumed.
  8. In a frying pan, pour the cooking oil and heat.
  9. When the oil is hot enough, fry the wrapped wontons until the wrapper becomes crispy.
  10. Remove from the frying pan and place in a plate with paper towel.
  11. Serve with sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy!
