INGREDIENTS:
- 400 g chicken fillets, cut into pieces
- 14 pcs pandan leaves
- Cooking oil, for frying
For the Marinade:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
HOW TO COOK:
- Combine the marinade ingredients in a large bowl then mix until well blended.
- Add- in the chicken then marinate for 3 hours inside the refrigerator.
- Drain the marinated chicken then wrap each pieces with pandan leaves (you can secure with skewers).
- Pour and heat enough oil in a frying pan then deep fry wrapped chicken until golden brown.
- Drain and transfer to serving plate.
- Serve with dipping sauce and steamed rice. Enjoy!
