INGREDIENTS:
- 250 g elbow macaroni, cooked according to package instructions
- 200 g beef, cut into 2 in cubes
- 200 g pork kasim, cut into 2 in cubes
- 2 pouches (80 g) Del Monte Quick ‘n Easy Mechado Sauce
- 1 pouch cheese sauce (you may use Cheese Magic brand)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pc onion, cut into quarters
HOW TO COOK:
- Place the beef and pork in a bowl and add- in the soy sauce and garlic.
- Marinate the meat for at least 30 minutes.
- Transfer the marinated meats into a pot and add- in the onions and mechado sauce.
- Heat and bring to a boil, then simmer in a covered pot until the meat is tender.
- Stir the mixture once in a while to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot.
- Separate the meat from the sauce.
- Flake the meat with a fork.
- Heat the remaining sauce in the pot.
- Add- in the cheese sauce and adjust the consistency with water.
- Toss into the cooked macaroni pasta. Serve and enjoy!
