No-Bake Cheesy Macaroni Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250 g elbow macaroni, cooked according to package instructions
  • 200 g beef, cut into 2 in cubes
  • 200 g pork kasim, cut into 2 in cubes
  • 2 pouches (80 g) Del Monte Quick ‘n Easy Mechado Sauce
  • 1 pouch cheese sauce (you may use Cheese Magic brand)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc onion, cut into quarters

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Place the beef and pork in a bowl and add- in the soy sauce and garlic.
  2. Marinate the meat for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Transfer the marinated meats into a pot and add- in the onions and mechado sauce.
  4. Heat and bring to a boil, then simmer in a covered pot until the meat is tender.
  5. Stir the mixture once in a while to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot.
  6. Separate the meat from the sauce.
  7. Flake the meat with a fork.
  8. Heat the remaining sauce in the pot.
  9. Add- in the cheese sauce and adjust the consistency with water.
  10. Toss into the cooked macaroni pasta. Serve and enjoy!
