INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 kg kamote kahoy (cassava/ yucca)
- 1 whole garlic
- salt, to taste
HOW TO COOK:
- Peel the cassava. Chop the cassava into small cubes (about half inch in size). Also peel and chop the garlic.
- Deep fry the chopped cassava on medium to high heat (make sure to preheat oil first before frying). When the cassava starts to brown, add in the garlic. Continue to fry until golden brown then turn off the heat.
- Drain excess oil from the cassava and let it cool for a bit. Season the cassava with salt to taste. Done!
