Mazapan De Pili Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Pili nuts, ground (you can use food processor)
  • Whole Pili nuts, for topping
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar

HOW TO COOK:

  1. In a sauce pan, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Apply heat and cook until thick.
  3. Scoop with spoon or molder and place in a greased baking sheet.
  4. Add Pili nuts on top.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg yolk.
  6. Preheat the oven at 375 F or 190 C.
  7. Bake until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Enjoy!
