Kalingking Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg kamote (sweet potato), cut into short strips
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk (or water)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • Oil, for frying

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, salt and milk in a bowl then mix well.
  2. Dip the kamote strips until well coated.
  3. Pour and heat enough oil in a deep pan.
  4. Deep fry the coated kamote strips until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain, sprinkle with sugar, then serve. Enjoy!
