Easy Homemade Avocado Ice Cream Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pcs large- sized fresh avocados
  • 1 can (400 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups cold heavy cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. First, cut avocados in half, remove the pit with a spoon, then scoop out the flesh.
  2. Combine the avocados and condensed milk in a food processor or blender.
  3. Blend together until smooth and no avocado chunks are visible.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
  5. Add- in the heavy cream to the mixture.
  6. Using a hand mixer (set at low speed), beat the mixture until it begins to thicken.
  7. Increase speed to medium and continue to beat for about 8 to 10 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
  8. Add 1/3 of the whipped cream to the avocado bowl and gently fold in until there are no visible white streaks, making sure to deflate the whipped cream.
  9. Repeat with another 1/3 of whipped cream and then the remaining 1/3 of the whipped cream.
  10. Transfer the mixture into a freezer safe container.
  11. Cover with plastic wrap and press down the film onto the surface of the mixture.
  12. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  13. Serve frozen and enjoy!
