Ginisang Tuna Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna in water
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 pc lime
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Open the canned tuna and discard the water.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan.
  3. Once the oil gets hot, saute the onion for 1 minute.
  4. Add the tuna and continue to saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the chicken broth in the pan and stir.
  6. Cover and cook in medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until liquid almost evaporates (you can add more broth if needed).
  7. Add the parsley, salt, and ground black pepper.
  8. Lastly, squeeze the lime over the Ginisang Tuna and stir.
  9. Transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
