INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g cream dory, sliced
- 1 thumb- sized ginger, sliced
- 1 bulb garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 & 1/2 cups water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped spring onions for garnish
HOW TO COOK:
- Rub the cream dory with salt and pepper.
- Line the steamer with parchment paper so the fish won’t stick to the bottom.
- Arrange the fish, top with ginger, then steam for 10 minutes or until cooked.
- Pour and heat the oil in a pan, then saute the garlic until light brown. Remove and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
- Bring to boil and simmer until the mixture thickens. Remove from the heat.
- In a serving plate, arrange fish then pour the sauce on top then garnish with toasted garlic and spring onions. Enjoy!
