INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g fish (Mackerel or Tuna), steak cut
- ¾ cup soy sauce
- 1 onion, cut into rings
- 2 tbsp calamansi (or lemon) juice
- ½ tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp cooing oil
HOW TO COOK:
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, calamansi juice, and pepper together.
- Add- in the fish and marinate for at least an hour (reserve marinade).
- Pour and heat the oil in a skillet over medium high.
- When the oil is hot enough, fry the fish until golden brown.
- Place the cooked fish on your serving plate.
- In the same pan, stir fry onion rings browning the edges a bit (avoid becoming limp).
- Place the onion rings on top or around of the fish steak.
- Still in the same pan, add- in the remaining marinade and let simmer for just a minute.
- Pour on top of the fish steak and onion rings. Enjoy!
