INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 3 pcs chorizo, thinly sliced
- ½ pc cabbage, quartered
- 1 bunch bok choy (or pechay)
- 1 bundle long green beans, cleaned with ends trimmed
- 1 medium potato, cubed
- 2 large saba bananas, sliced
- 1 cup garbanzos
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 medium sized onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp whole peppercorn
- Cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Pour and heat oil in the pot.
- Fry the banana until color turns golden brown. Set aside.
- Put- in the chorizo in the same pot and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato.
- Add- in the chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add- in the fish sauce, tomato sauce, and whole peppercorn then mix well.
- Add- in enough water to cover chicken and simmer until meat is tender.
- Add- in the fried chorizo, fried banana, potato, and garbanzos and simmer for 7 minutes.
- Add- in the cabbage and long green beans and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add- in the bok choy and turn off the heat.
- Cover the pot for more 5 minutes to cook.
- Transfer to serving plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
