INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb chicken feet, cleaned
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 & ½ cups water
- 3 pcs dried siling labuyo
- 4 pcs dried bay leaves
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp whole peppercorn
- 18 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Heat a cooking pot and pour- in 16 tbsp of the cooking oil.
- Fry the chicken feet until color turns light brown then set aside.
- On a new clean pot, heat the remaining 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
- Saute the garlic and dried chili.
- Put- in the fried chicken feet, soy sauce, and water then let it boil.
- Add- in the dried bay leaves, whole peppercorn, oyster sauce, salt, and sugar
- Stir and simmer until chicken feet becomes tender (add water as necessary).
- Add- in vinegar and stir then cook for 5 minutes more.
- Remove from heat then transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
