INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups buko meat (add some more for optional toppings)
- 1 cup buko juice
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Ice
HOW TO MAKE:
- First make your own simple syrup by combining the sugar and water in a small pot.
- Apply medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer (stir regularly until sugar is dissolved and syrup is clear and no longer cloudy).
- Remove your DIY simple syrup from heat and allow to cool completely.
- Combine the buko meat, buko juice, evaporated milk, DIY simple syrup, and ice in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Transfer into tall glasses, top with shredded buko (optional), and serve cold. Enjoy!
