INGREDIENTS:
- 8 oz unsweetened chocolate chunks (or chips)
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 & ⅓ cups all- purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 1 & ¼ cups granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup butter
- 2 pcs raw eggs
HOW TO COOK:
- First, let’s melt the chocolate. Place the chocolate chunks/ chips in a bowl over a saucepan with boiling water.
- In a bowl, whisk- in the eggs then gradually add- in the granulated sugar. Mix thoroughly.
- Whisk- in the softened butter then continue mixing.
- Add- in the melted chocolate then mix again.
- Put- in the baking powder and salt then mix until fully distributed.
- Add- in the flour gradually while mixing.
- Pour- in the vanilla extract and coffee then mix until every ingredient is well incorporated.
- Fold- in the chopped walnuts.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F or 177 C.
- Pour the chocolate mixture on a 9 x 13 greased baking pan then bake for 19 to 22 minutes (or until it passes the toothpick test).
- Remove from the oven and allow the temperature to cool down.
- Slice into smaller pieces then transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
