INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs beef, cubed
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 2 pcs cinnamon sticks
- 1 pc dried bay leaf
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper/chili
- 1 & ½ cups fresh milk (or coconut milk)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 pcs cloves
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tabsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Pour and heat the cooking oil in pot.
- Saute the onions and garlic.
- Add- in the beef and cook until the color turns light brown.
- Add- in crushed red pepper/chili, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and curry powder then stir.
- Pour- in fresh milk (or coconut milk). Let boil.
- Add- in the tomatoes, ginger, lemon juice, and salt. Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens and the beef becomes tender.
- Turn the heat off and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
