Luncheon Meat Carbonara Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 can luncheon meat, cut into strips, then halved
  • 1 pack (400 g) spaghetti pasta
  • 1 pack (250 g) all- purpose cream
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
  • 1 small red onion, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat water in a pot and let it boil.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large sauté pan, pour and heat the oil over medium heat.
  4. Add- in and sauté onion until softened and translucent.
  5. Add- in the water and peas.
  6. Cover and bring to a boil then simmer until peas are softened.
  7. Remove the cover and let water evaporate.
  8. Add- in and cook the luncheon meat until heated through.
  9. Add- in the cream and paprika.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. To serve, toss with cooked pasta. Enjoy!
