Easy Ground Pork With Sayote Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 kg ground pork
  • 2 pcs medium sized sayote, peeled and sliced in about 1 inch length
  • 1 pc medium sized tomato, chopped
  • 1 pc medium sized onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the garlic, tomato, and onion then cook until the onion is translucent
  3. Add- in the ground pork.
  4. Add- in the  salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook until ground pork is slightly brown.
  6. Add some water and the sayote.
  7. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sayote is cooked.
  8. Season as needed.
  9. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
