Eggplant Steak Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 kg talong (eggplant), sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon or calamansi juice
  • 1 large onion, 1/2 part- sliced into rings & 1/2 part- minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

HOW TO COOK:

  1. In a pan, heat some oil and saute the minced onions and garlic.
  2. Add- in the eggplant and cook in low- medium heat until eggplant is slightly soft.
  3. Add- in the soy sauce and lemon/ calamansi juice.
  4. Continue heating until eggplant is fully cooked.
  5. Add- in the salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Put fresh onion rings on top.
  7. Serve. Enjoy!
