Camaron Rebosado Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb shrimps, shelled and deveined (don’t remove tail)
  • 8 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 pcs raw eggs
  • 1 tbsp fresh milk
  • 1 pc lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Start by squeezing the lemon over the shrimps and marinating it for 30 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, and salt then mix well.
  3. Add- in the eggs and milk then stir until all the ingredients are well distributed.
  4. Heat a pan or fryer and pour- in the cooking oil.
  5. When the oil is hot enough, dip a piece of shrimp in the batter (leave the tail uncovered) then deep- fry until the color of the outer part turns dark yellow and the texture becomes crispy.
  6. Do this for the whole batch
  7. Remove from the pan or fryer then place in a plate lined with paper towel.
  8. Serve with sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy!
