INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs pork belly, sliced
- 1 & ½ cup frozen green peas
- 5 pcs sweet pepper, sliced in half and seeds removed
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Preheat your oven to 350 F or 175 C.
- Start by heating a Dutch oven in a stovetop.
- Once hot enough, pour- in the cooking oil.
- Once the oil gets hot, saute the onion and garlic.
- Add- in the pork belly slices then cook until the pork turns light brown.
- Turn off the fheat from the stovetop.
- Pour the tomato sauce and beef broth in the Dutch oven.
- Add- in the peppers and peas.
- Cover and place inside the preheated oven.
- Let it stay inside the oven for 2 hours at 350 F or 175 C.
- Remove from the oven then add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve and enjoy!
