INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup cornmeal
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 & ¼ cups all- purpose flour
- 3 pcs raw eggs
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 & ½ cups milk
- 1 & ¼ tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
HOW TO COOK:
- Preheat oven to 375 F or 175 C.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt then stir and set aside.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar using an electric mixer.
- Gradually add the eggs and milk with the creamed butter and sugar.
- Gradually put- in the flour and cornmeal mixture while mixing the other ingredients.
- Pour the batter in a rectangular cake pan.
- Place inside the oven and bake for 21 to 25 minutes
- Remove the cake pan from the oven and let it cool.
- Slice the corn bread into serving pieces.
- Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
