INGREDIENTS:
- 2 & ½ to 3 lbs beef short ribs, sliced
- 1 tbsp cooking rice wine
- ¾ cups light soy sauce
- 3 tbsp garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated white sugar
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Combining and stir together the soy sauce, garlic, sugars, rice wine, sesame oil, and chili powder in a bowl to make the marinade.
- Place the beef short ribs in a heavy duty freezer bag and pour in the marinade.
- Secure the freezer bag by sealing the edges (make sure to release all the air inside the bag before closing).
- Refrigerate the bag and marinate overnight.
- Prepare the grill and arrange the short ribs (reserve marinade for basting).
- Grill the short ribs for about 4 to 8 minutes per side (depending on the heat) while basting with the reserved marinade.
- Once done, place the short ribs in a serving plate. You may garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
