Squid Sisig Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 large squids, cleaned and ink sacks removed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 medium yellow onion, minced
  • 2 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Rub 1 tsp salt on the squid and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat- up the grill and grill the squid for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove from the grill and let it cool.
  4. Chop the squid into small pieces.
  5. Pour and heat the cooking oil in a pan.
  6. Saute the garlic, onion, and ginger.
  7. Add- in the chopped squid.
  8. Stir and then cook for 1 minute.
  9. Add- in the garlic powder, salt, and soy sauce.
  10. Stir and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Transfer to a serving plate and you may garnish with crushed chicharon and chopped scallions.
  12. Serve with calamansi and soy sauce. Enjoy!
