INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 3 large Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups water or beef broth
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil, for cooking
HOW TO COOK:
- Pour the oil in a pan and heat over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook until limp.
- Add the ground beef and cook.
- Break up the beef into pieces with back of spoon and continue cooking until lightly browned.
- Drain excess fat, if any.
- Add the fish sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook, mashing with back of spoon, until softened and release juice.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat, cover and cook for about 7 to 10 minutes or until beef is cooked.
- Add potatoes and continue to cook until tendet.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, enjoy!.
