INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb pork belly, sliced into serving pieces
- 2 pcs chorizo, sliced crosswise
- 4 pcs saba banana, halved
- 2 bunches bok choy (or pechay), cut lower end
- 8 oz green beans
- 1 large potato, cut into cubes
- 1 large tomato
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 6 to 7 cups water
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 pork cubes
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
- Pour and heat the cooking oil in a pot.
- Sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato.
- Once the onion becomes tender, add the pork belly and chorizo.
- Continue to cook for 3 minutes or until the pork belly browns.
- Pour the tomato sauce and water and let it boil.
- Add the pork cubes and stir.
- Cover the pot and set the heat to low.
- Boil for 50 minutes.
- Add the banana and potato.
- Cover and continue to cook in medium heat for 12 minutes.
- Add the green beans and bok choy.
- Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Transfer to serving plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
