INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs beef sirloin, cubed
- 3 pcs chorizo, thinly sliced
- ½ medium cabbage, quartered
- 1 bunch Bok choy (or pechay)
- 15 pcs long green beans
- 1 medium potato, cubed
- 2 large saba bananas, sliced
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1 cup garbanzos
- 1 medium sized onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp whole peppercorn
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 3 cups water
HOW TO COOK:
- In a pot, pour and heat oil.
- Fry the bananas until color turns golden brown. Set aside.
- Put in the chorizo in the same pot and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato.
- Add the beef and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the fish sauce, tomato sauce, and whole peppercorn and mix well.
- Add the water and simmer until meat is tender.
- Add the fried chorizo, fried banana, potato, and garbanzos and simmer for 7 minutes.
- Add the cabbage and long green beans then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the bok choy and turn off the heat.
- Cover the pot for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to serving plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
