INGREDIENTS:
For the Steak:
- 600 grams filet mignon steak, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
- Salt and pepper
For the Adobo Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsps vinegar
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Vegetable oil
- 5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsps slurry
- Water
For Serving:
- 6-9 pcs marble potatoes, boiled until soft
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2 tbsps butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
HOW TO COOK:
- Cook the steak in high heat until seared on all sides.
- Cook until desired doneness. Set aside.
For the Adobo Sauce:
- On the same pan, deglaze it with the soy sauce.
Stirring all the bits on the bottom of the pan. - Add the chopped garlic and vinegar.
Simmer until the vinegar is cooked. - Season with freshly ground pepper.
Simmer until thick. - Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve the adobo sauce with the steak.
For the Potatoes:
- In a clean pan, melt the butter with the olive oil.
- Sauté the boiled potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and add the chopped parsley.
- Served with the steak.
